We believe that there is one true God. God Almighty has created all things. He is the Creator of all life. He created humanity to have relationship with Himself. Man (Adam and Eve) sinned against God by disobedience thus breaking their unique relationship. But God, in His mercy, provided a way for mankind to be restored to Himself. He sent His Son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ in the form of a human being to Earth.
Yeshua lived amongst us, taught His Father’s principles, died a miserable death on a cross and paid in full the penalty of sin, spent three days in a grave, and rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that we are made to be the righteousness of God and we have a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God which contains all truth pertaining to a relationship with God, salvation, right living, and eternal life. The Scriptures are a blueprint for life:
“Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you—‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 6:1-7 NKJV.
Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV.
We believe that the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth, teaches us everything about God, and is our comforter, helper, and guide.
